Bobby and Debbie Stephens (pronounced “Steffens”) are “Domestic and International Missionaries” who inspire audiences to look to Jesus, the One who brings peace and unity, making family and discipleship all it can be and all that God intends.

Rock of Safety started with a vision. Two people called by God at different times in their lives, brought together to fulfill the mission of spreading the good news of Christ’s Love.

Bobby Dean Stephens

Bobby came to know the Lord as a young teenager at a school revival. As a young adult he rededicated his life to full time service. He realized just how much God’s love and forgiveness has impacted his life from here to eternity.  He has always had a passion for outreach and evangelism. His greatest joy is seeing someone come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. He has a heart for discipleship as well, for people from all walks of life to discover and live the intentional and purpose-driven life, which only come from a life surrendered to Christ. He is always ready to “give an answer for the hope that is within you.”

Bobby is an international Christian singer, songwriter, evangelist, and ordained minister who travels with his wife Debbie and two children sharing the Gospel of Christ through music and drama. His only focus is to see people come to Christ, and to encourage believers of all ages.

Bobby is a member of the Gospel Music Association and BMI Songwriters Association.

DEBBIE STEPHENS

Debbie came to know Christ at an early age. With a Christian family, God and His love was all around. From nursery to AWANA to Sunday School, Debbie was taught and understood the need of salvation. At the tender age of four, she asked Jesus to forgive her sins and be her Lord and Savior. God was not finished there. At the age of ten she went to a revival at her church where she dedicated her life to full-time service. She has worked with children in a variety of ways. As a CPS worker she saw the hurt and desperate need for reaching underpriviledged children. She also taught kindergarten and worked at a special needs camp for children. She has an eagerness to reach the hurting and the lost using unique and contemporary tools to share the love of Christ.

Debbie is a children’s story author and offers the opportunity for a special children’s segment where she surprises everyone with different Biblical characters. Although targeted to children, kids from 0 – 92 love these adorable characters.

Debbie’s life verse is Proverbs 3:5-6

ROCK OF SAFETY

Rock of Safety is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization designed to share the Gospel of Christ to all people.

We believe:

  • There is only one true and eternal god consisting of three co-equal persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit
  • Jesus Christ is God’s only Son, fully divine and fully human, the eternal and pre-existent Word
  • The Bible composed of the Old and New Testaments, is the divinely inspired Word of God, the final and trustworthy authority for faith and practice
  • The Bible says that “All have sinned and come short of the glory of God.”
  • Salvation has been provided through Jesus Christ alone, and is a free gift for those who call upon the Name of the Lord, who are called into a personal relationship with Him.
  • The Church is called to proclaim the Good News of Jesus Christ

We are:

  • A non-denominational ministry committed to the Great Commission
  • Committed to support one another through the stages of life so we can become more mature disciples of Jesus Christ
